Pneumatic bonding for single lines with flat blade connections, cable lugs, wire-end sleeves, tinned ends etc.

Function
The contact is made by inserting the line into the bonding outlet. The process is triggered by a control tappet which will be pressed down approx. 1 mm by the conductor. Bonding is performed by a clamping piston connecting line and housing.
Bonding is opened by interrupting the air supply using the LKV opening button, the magnetic valve, the air-operated button, foot-operated valve, etc.

Order data

3 different clamping hole diameters are available for adjusting the clamping task. Conductors, connector parts etc. with different dimensions can be thereby bonded safely. Furthermore, two versions are available.

Type O without cover plate for installation into the customer’s mounting plate

The standard version includes a 3 mm straight compressed air connector. If you need a swivelling angular connection, replace the „2“ in the order number by „WS“

For bonding smooth surfaces such as wire-end sleeves, etc. we recommend to use a clamping piston with cap. Use for this purpose the additional note „WK“ in your order. (order example LKV-D4-A-F2/WK)

Special module of the LKV-12 model series

Pneumatic bonding for small single lines with an outer diameter of 1.2 – 3 mm.
Also suitable for needle bonding with not bared lines.

Function
The contact is made by inserting the line into the bonding outlet. The process is triggered by a control tappet which will be pressed down approx. 1 mm by the conductor. Bonding takes place using a clamping piston or using a needle for not bared conductors. So, the connection is made between conductor and bonding module. (bonding point approx. 2mm from conductor end). Bonding is opened by interrupting the air supply using the bonding module opening button, a magnetic valve, the air-operated button, switch, etc.

Order data
To ensure safe bonding of the conductor, the bonding outlet of the guide sleeve has to be adjusted to the conductor outer diameter. Indicate the conductor diameter (0.1 mm precision). We adjust the guide sleeve so that the conductor can be inserted easily and safe bonding is also ensured.

LKV-12 model series

Note for version with needle contact: We endeavour to obtain a contact resistance between needle and flat plug of <10 ohms. A precise definition is possible only after knowledge of the line structure of the single conductor to be tested.

Pneumatic bonding for single conductors with potential-free microswitch Function

The contact is made by inserting the line into the bonding outlet. The process is triggered by a control tappet which will be pressed down approx. 1 mm by the conductor. This tappet operates simultaneously a microswitch which can be used for potential-free switching of signals, visual displays, etc.
Bonding of the conductor is performed by a clamping piston connecting line and housing. Bonding is opened by interrupting the air supply using the LKV opening button, the magnetic valve, the air-operated button, foot-operated valve, etc. When opening the conductor bonding, the microswitch contact is also opened.
